Default P0358 code trouble...

LS1 5.7L

I have changed the coil pack, plug wire, and spark plug. I am still getting the same trouble code P0358..??
I am not sure how to diagnose the wiring short?
I do know its the #8 coil.
I checked for a/c voltage across all 4 wires with the truck running. I got 13.8V from the Red/orange wire to all the other tree wires which are white, brown, black.
So I assume the red and orange wire is the power wire?
Switched to d/c v and got nothing?

I am really not good with understanding these.
So please be patient..
Thanks

I pulled the harness from the pcm and ohmed out the wires from the #8 plug-in to the harness plug in #66, to white #61 to brown, red/orange wire is 12V and black is ground.
All seems good?

I found in the #8 the spark plug was comletely different than the rest...
It is a NGK-R tr6 v-power
all the others are AC delco 19256067 41-993...

I know I posted a lot of information on this tread...

I moved the odd spark plug to #4 cleared codes and now i get a fault code for P0354?
Whats odd to me is I still get the fault code for P0358 even with the correct spark plug????
Is the PCM just turning off the fuel injector due to the past fault code????
Can the PCM not completely clear the code?

Did replacing the spark plug and clearing the codes ever solve your problem or did something else come up?
