Default frost mail in tune vs. programmer on 98 ls1

Hey guys im not sure which to choose both are about the same price for a tune...im doin a cam/head swap, intake manifold and i got longtubes, m6 stock rear end and egr/air and o2 sensor deletes...not sure what way to go and which will get me the best results

For the mods your wanting to do you need to get it tuned in person. A mail order will work to get it up and running but wot a/f and timing would still need to be checked. I don't know of a handheld that would be able to make the needed changes in order for your car to run right with heads and cam swap.

Okay so i would want to do the mail order tune to get up and runing then dynotune??

Unless you change injectors you will be able to start the car and check for leaks or issues, then get it dyno/street tuned.

You have a 98 so if you know anyone local with EFI live they could do some basic stuff like turn off the codes for a rock bottom price since there is no charge to unlock your PCM but you're better off just taking it in for a full tune and being done with it.
