Default Using the newer E38 ECU with an old 4L60E, is it possible?

I have a 416 that I'm gonna use a E38 ecu for it, and I have a built 4L60E (out from a '99 Camaro) that will mate with it. I know that trans. does not use a ISS (Input Speed Sensor), will I be able to use the E38 safely? will I need a stand alone TCU in that case? (like the FAST EZ-TCU box).

I know when swapping a 4L60 into a newer vette with an E38 a lot of guys use the PCS 2000 to control the trans. For stuff to work properly it needs a speed sensor. One can be installed in the diff without too much trouble.

The E38 is only a ECU (engine controller) it doesn't have transmission controls.
You need to mate it with a T42 TCM from same year as the E38. The T42 must be flashed with a 4L60E operating system to make things easier.
Next, you need a few wiring changes because the Park/Neutral Position switch is different than the one found in Fbodies. You need to source one with connector from a truck.
The ISS is not present in 07 or older 4L60E but you can tune around it, it works good.
