Default car lays over when shifting from 2nd to 3rd during burnout

im using HP tuners it looks like all the TM is turned off but ive noticed that when i shift from 2nd to third during my burnout the car lays over and drops rpms pretty drastically. anything i should be looking for in the tune? setup is a turbo LQ4 based 408 with a FRMVB th400. thanks in advance for any insight.

I do exactly what jake at jakes performance recommends to do with his trannys. Something to do with wheel speed or something like that. Who am i to argue with someone who knows infinitely more than me about my th400? my laptop is being screwy lately. I will post a log asap.

It's easier on the transmission.

Here is a good explanation

Are you sure it's not just dragging the motor down because it's starting to hook in 3rd gear? As you burn the water off you're probably also shifting into 3rd gear, The tires will start to stick and put a load on the engine and cause it to bog. It doesn't take much power to spin wet tires in 2nd gear but when in 3rd with sticky tires... Your probably just running out of power to keep them turning = Bog
