wow that function also throws odd readings. will have to mess with it.

my AFX box first shows 2.0 when it power ups then counts down. It displays 1.08 with key on and not started. I thought this was correct as it will never display 0 or 5 volts?

Edit: I just saw your other thread and that you're running an e38 controller. For the E38 and newer controllers commanded EQ is the same as commanded lambda. In that case you want to use
100*([AUX.20121]-[pid.68])/[pid.68]

but that function doesn't work, well doesn't have me commanding 1

What's the commanded eq when you're warmed up?

Engine on from -3.xx to 4.xx

I have Commanded EQ Ratio (SAE) as well as Air Fuel Ration Commanded Hi Res in my primary table

The eq ratio, [pid.68], is showing up 15.xx or -3.xx to 4.xx? Something is broken.

ok. I thought you were suggesting I change my function for commanded lambda from [PID.6001]/14.20 to something else. But now I'm guessing you are suggesting I change my lambda error function??

The lambda error function you showed in the picture is correct.

On a gen 3 commanded lambda is (1/[pid.6010]) on an e40 it's (1/[pid.68]) and on e38/e67+ it's just [pid.68].

Got it. All set

Been tuning the VVE with bluecat and also using a COS with real VE. I notice that I can change the MAP axis points but not the MAF on the COS. Not a big deal just a little more work is all.
