Question tuning by lambda error
wow that function also throws odd readings. will have to mess with it.
my AFX box first shows 2.0 when it power ups then counts down. It displays 1.08 with key on and not started. I thought this was correct as it will never display 0 or 5 volts?

Bonus tip: I use 14.12 for e10 stoich
Edit: I just saw your other thread and that you're running an e38 controller. For the E38 and newer controllers commanded EQ is the same as commanded lambda. In that case you want to use
100*([AUX.20121]-[pid.68])/[pid.68]

It sends the voltage thru the signal to hpt. If you watch it count down from 20 to 0 at some point you should see 1 on your hpt lambda display. If you don't then most likely you have a bad ground.
all good, displaying the 1
but that function doesn't work, well doesn't have me commanding 1

On a gen 3 commanded lambda is (1/[pid.6010]) on an e40 it's (1/[pid.68]) and on e38/e67+ it's just [pid.68].
Been tuning the VVE with bluecat and also using a COS with real VE. I notice that I can change the MAP axis points but not the MAF on the COS. Not a big deal just a little more work is all.
