Diablosport Intone Fan Settings for 160 T-Stat
Hey All,
I did a search but saw a bit of conflicting information on fan settings for 160 degree thermostat. I'm replacing my water pump next weekend, and decided to throw a tstat in while it's all apart. It doesn't even get below 30* in winter and can get as high as 110* in summer here in Houston. What would you guys suggest I set the fans on?
Whine is coming from the middle of the engine bay, like a supercharger. Sounds like a bearing going bad. While it's functioning perfectly, it's getting louder and I want to fix it before it fails. I've replaced everything else that could whine under there so I'm pretty positive that is what it is. New Alt (AC Delco), New power steering pump (Turn One), new idlers (AC Delco), new tensioners (AC Delco). Whines in all gears and when in park so it's not the rear end or transmission.
Thanks fellas!

DS told me just bring the temps down about 30* across the board from stock and that should be ok. I'll just play with it until I get it right and see what works.
