Default lockup converter shudder, low load-low rpm

in my car,( h/c 6.0,228r cam, 4l80e, circle d 3200 278mm conveter) I'm experiencing a slight shudder/ vibration when the converter locks up at 55mph. at 55mph and with the converter locked the rpm of the engine is around 2100.
I have read some posts that this could be from making the engine lug at too low of an rpm. how could I test this? what are some other tuning related causes and solutions?
p.s. I'm pretty sure I've ruled out a drive line vibration problem.

I think I've figured my problem out. my converter is staying locked while coasting/ decelerating, ive found that some people prefer it that way. but in my case it is cuasing some vibration by bogging my engine. I think if I change my tune so that my converter unlocks when I let off of the gas, the car will be much more comfortable to drive. thoughts?
