mail-order tuned stock lq4 6.0, adding ls6 cam ok?
I recently have been driving around on a nice tune from efi performance(frost tuned) for my stock 2005 6.0 which includes having a stock cam but with ls6 valve springs. Would JUST installing a used but good condition ls6 cam need a retune or would I be alright without stretching it much?

What 6.0 is in there exactly?
If it's a truck engine it might be a good idea to at least get the car scanned to see if it's still running ok as the LS6 cam has quite a bit more lift than the truck cam.
If it's an LS2 aluminum engine then the difference is not that much so you are most likely ok.

Sorry it's a 2005 savana van/truck lq4. I read a lot lately about how the cam bearings are pretty bad stock so it could be a mess taking out the old cam. It seems to be running well with good oil pressure (never drops below 40 psi) and giving me an adjusted time of 12.1@111mph in my 3000 lb car.
