Well no the car cranks hard and now it wont even start. I have it at the shop right now to see if they can figure out what the issue is. I just had replaced the fuel pump with an oem one since my car is basically stock af lol. I checked the schareder valve and its still spraying alot of fuel.

Well just an update guys I received a call from the mechanic he told me there was a short on the fuel pump and that the whole pump needs to be replaced. I informed him why cant he just change the pump to a walbro 340 which is what I have with me. He told me it wouldn't do any good since the whole pump is burned out?? is this true or is he just pulling my leg this doesnt sound true that the whole pump would burn out. I just bought it a few months back

I think the mechanic doesn't know how to deal with installing an aftermarket pump. Only knows how to replace stock parts.

Well I went ahead and defected out my Delphi pump and ordered a spectra pump if this one gets damaged I will switch over to the walbro 340. So the pump assembly wouldn't get damaged if there was a short????

Waiting on kit and spectra pump. The short it had was where the 8 pin connector from the fuel pump to the chassis one had shorted. He informs he will directly wire the cable
