Best year pcm for boosted tuning?

I have a 98 trans am now. Learned that 99+ pcm's are better for tuning. What year is best and what work is required swapping? 99, 00, 01, or 02? Thanks

99-02 pcm's are the same. Search 98 repin, there are alot of threads about re-pinning 98 to use a 99+ pcm.

What is the easiest way to swap pcms? Do I need one out of a m6 trans am, or any 99+ fbody? I also hear you loose traction control when swapping. No way to keep this?

HP Tuners has a 2 bar custom OS for 98 PCMs that is very tune able.

Any 99-02, doesnt matter, the tune can be changed manual to auto or vise versa. We keep pcm's in stock and sell them stock, or set up with a custom tune already.

pmed. If you have 99+ pcms you sell. Plus do mail orders.. might just buy a pcm off you with a preloaded mail order tune allowing me to drive it to the dyno for a full tune
