vcm scanner issue

I attempted to scan my car, key on and opening the primary table its filled with unsupported parameters. I can't get hptuners to log anything, I hit scan and nothing but the map shows values. I used my tuners supplied config file, nothing but afr, map, and vehicle speed the rest of the tables filled with unsupported parameters. I switched to the default. Same issue unsupported parameters. Not sure if this is a software issue or somethings up with my car. I know its vague, but any ideas on why its not reading or showing any of these parameters?

ok did some reading, apparently I am missing the majority of the standard pids. All I have showing up are: vehicle speed (sae), MAP (sae), and engine coolant temp (sae).
How can I insert the standard pids required to log the vehicle, or better yet why are all the tables the standard pids are supposed to be located displaying unsupported data?

Version 2.24. I hooked up to my other car and the scanner worked fine. It seems there is an issue with the car, I'm just not sure what would cause it and where to start trouble shooting.

Search the HPT forum for some config files. The config files stored the scanner PID setups in 2.24

Your answer is in post #8. Read it. And this applies to 2.24 or earlier versions. I don't know how 2.25 or 3.0 handles vehicle files. I've not used them.
