Default Engine misfires/backfires when cold.

I have a 2001 camaro ss m6 with 111k miles. Car has LT's, fast92tb and intake, new heads, small cam, better fuel injectors, and true duels. Just had the heads and intake put in and it tuned and dynod. I think im running some tr55s in them. fuel filter has been replaced about 7k ago.

I just got my car back and its been running great. I work really long hours and got in my car after work and when i went to drive home it would not accelerate and it would bog down really bad but make a s**** ton of noise. this would go away after like 2 or so minutes. I live in florida so its not like it was really that cold..... I'm not certain why this is happening. i've cleaned my lid and MAF in the past pretty recently, could it have gotten dirty while they were working on my car, i did have to replaced my water pump because my old one was leaking really badly and spewing water everywhere. I know its not due to the opti spark getting wet from it, because, well, it doesnt have it lol. Im about to check if its my spark plugs but its a pain to check the last passenger side one. could they have been damaged or the wires pulled some while a shop did the heads. (they did pull the engine out). I'm so frustrated and i dont have the best tools or knowledge to work on my own car.

Can there be codes being set off without any lights coming on?

Was it cold or damp that night? A coil can act up when it is damp out and then work fine once it dries out.

umm, it was nice durring the day... pretty dry for Florida, sat from 8am till about 930pm... low 60's to 78then back down to upper 60's.. pretty dry. pretty much perfect weather lol.

ive been reading stuff about spark plugs. could i need new ones now that my compression is raised?

how do i go about checking if my coil pack was installed correctly. I feel like this should be throwing a code. wth

please be more detailed. You drop off the car- and they changed ALL of that stuff in one shot? It sounds like it just needs more tuning. Often the tune is done fully warm, and nobody bothers to let it sit overnight to completely cool (you wanted it back right away I guess) and so nobody did any cold start/driving tuning. I am guessing it warms up and drives fine? Probably running too rich or too lean, what does your wideband say when it runs like ****/cold?

It could also be a knock sensor related since they pulled the motor (those can cause retarded timing in some situations) epsecially if the tune has too much timing advance, a cold engine has a higher VE and might ping/knock using pump gas, thus pulled timing from the ECU, thus "a bunch of noise and no power" when it warms up, the VE drops slightly, knock goes away, timing comes back.
