VCM Scanner Boost PID/ Layout Guidance? (and EBC too...)
Hey guys so I've been trying to figure out the Innovate SCG-1 ebc and figure out why boost changes so damn much under wot. I was logging today and I'm having trouble making sense of the boost PID. I opened up the layout that my tuner was using on the dyno and one of the PID's is "Intake Manifold Absolute Pressure (SAE)" measured in InHg. But when I export the log to a CSV file, that column has some strange values at some rpm's. 31.8928 and 28's and 17's at 6000 rpm and stuff like that. The PID# says it's number 11. I guess what I'm asking is, are my PID's setup right to log boost correctly? Then I can make changes in the ebc (duty cycle, gain, etc) and log to see what on earth is going on. Seems like no matter what I do in the ebc, I get erratic boost levels under wot.
I've attached the CSV export, the actual VCM log file.
5-7-16.hpl
test export2.csv
Standard VCM Layout.Layout.xml and the layout file.

So reading into it a bit more, it looks like I should have the 2-bar sensor come up as a PID automatically?

It's strange because it actually shows a 3 bar PID as an option, but not a 2 bar.
Anyone have insight on how I can correctly add the PID to read boost?
