Default Idle Tuning Posative LTrims (MAF or VE)

My Ltrims are good every where except idle around 1.16-1.22 lbs/min mass air flow rate. Where on the maf table should I increase to bring back down the ltrims at idle. Or can you do this through the VE table. I think this would help get rid of some of the extra fuel smell, but not all of it. Plus, I would just like to clean up the idle.

I have leaned out the 1200rpm and lower part of the VE table a good bit. Is this why I am getting the positive MAF values (8-14) at idle. I don't think it is because I have leaned out the up to 2800 values but not as much and it hasn't thrown my MAF posative in that range.

I would use the IFR table at those points to bring the ltrims back down.

How do I make the correlation between what range needs to be changed? From the mass air flow rate?

Are getting positve MAF values or do you mean positve LTrim values? If you are getting positive ltrims values you are lean at those spots and the computer is compensating by richening up the mixture + Ltrim values. You can either add it back with the VE table (slowly) or multiply the IFR table at those map values by a samll percentage at a time until they become 0 or slightly negative. Also if you have a huge cam with loads of overlap it kinda throws the computer off at low RPM so you may only be able to get rid of it but so much. After you leaned out your VE table did you start to get any bucking at low rpms? If so you are to lean and will have to richen it back up

I meant Ltrim values. I have a 230/236 107 lsa cam so you could say it has a little overlap. I think I will try messing with the IFR table then. Once again, how do you make the correlation.

I do have bucking at low rpm but don't think it has anything to do with being lean there. This is just a characteristic of this cam. You can't have everything perfect.

The corelation between the IFR table is by map and rpm version 1.3 in edit <100 richens up the mixture >100 leans it out
