Overseas tuning Help
What is going on all? So I am currently over in Germany, I just picked up an 02 TA with tasteful mods from an old acquaintance. Needless to say the car needs to be retuned, I have a friend here that has an HP Tuners that he will let me use with my car to get it tuned since the license allows you to use multiple cars. My question is for whoever is tuning my car should I do light pulls on the autobahn to provide data for the car to be tuned or should I go with a base tune? With the base tune will I be safe on the road over here if I am going ***** to the wall!!! Background on the car I currently had to pull the heads due to blown head gasket, this is my first LS car to own coming from the import scene, here are my mods:
Cam thunder racing Trak 231/234 629/615 112 LSA
650 double valve spring and trunion kit for the rockers.
Hardened push rods and new LS7 lifters Cometic 3.910 MLS Head gaskets
Long tube headers and full magnaflow exhaust with y pipe. All stainless steel.
Upgraded clutch master cylinder, and shifter
New rear lower control arms and panhard bar
3 90 gears, auburn differential and hardenedaxles. The only thing left stock is the housing. The rear end is basically allnew

With the data logs would I be going off of the guidance of the tuner or just going out and doing pills to get it dialed in? I fear blowing the car up!

Make damn sure your tuner knows what quality/octane rating/etc. your local fuel is. Also, let them know of any extreme high/low altitude or weather conditions you encounter that they may not be aware of. I highly doubt this is an issue in Germany, but this is general advice for any non-local tuning.
