04 lq4 pulling timing at WOT

04 lq4 pulling timing at WOT car is an 83 malibu with an 04 lq4 and RMVB th-350. When i was looking over the data logs after tracking down an p0101 code problem, i noticed during a couple WOT pulls, in between the 1-2 shift the pcm pulled the timing from 14 degrees all the way back to -11 then for a few frames went back and forth between 0 to -5 then back up to 14 degrees and proceeded as "normal". My first thought was KR (knock retard) or even burst knock retard but there were no knock events in the data log anywhere. Can't for the life of me figure out why tf it pulled all that timing out, anyone got any ideas?

not sure, someones else suggested that to me. not sure how familiar with hp tuners you are but i managed to pull up a torque management table, not sure how to disable it though as i'm relatively new to hp tuners

i'll post the file later when i can get on the laptop with the software on it. Nope, no forced induction or nitrous, well not yet anyway. stock maf tune too, not sure why its on so low of timing other than maybe the torque management non sense, was just concerned with the wot drop and was going from there. As for the p0101 code, actually not a big issue, ended up being a combination of a bad throttle body gasket and the max delta air table needs to be monkeyed with because of the intake we got on it. https://ls1tech.com/forums/pcm-diagn...maf-meter.html

going to try doing away with the torque management as per http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showth...t-on-silverado. whenever we get the time in the next couple days we'll go out and data log it again and upload the log. i'll upload the current file in a bit
