Default Lnc-2003 no flames

using hptuners my 2 step won't shoot flames no matter what rpm I set it at. Just trying to get some flames in p/n. Do I have to make additional changes to the tune ?
Thanks

i did a lot of messing around with timing to try and mimic a bang bang with HP tuners

i dont think there's any way to pull enough timing to light the charge while the exhaust valve is still open

also it's really hard on the exhaust valves.

my .02$

Done antilag setup plenty of times on factory ecm

Use the IAT circuit with a relay and a momentary ground to deactivate the circuit, the ecm will read a very cold temperature. We can then use the IAT timing adder table to pull timing, i usually sim for -10 degrees and since the iat reads cold, the fuel will also be increased automatically. This rapidly increases boost and have managed to perfect it for rolling anti lag as well. Ill put a video of it, crappy low res video, but you can hear it working. And yes this creates TONS of flames.

Which 2 step box? You can pull more timing events and it'll send unburned fuel into the turbine.

This is awesome. Do you use this method instead of a two-step box?

I think I'm going to try and attempt this. About what rpm does it limit to ?
Thanks

I use the IAT method, but I use a 2-step with it as well. It does NOT limit your RPM.
With the IAT timing retard I pull 25 degrees of timing out and when it starts to spool up the turbo, it will push my 3200 stall converter up to 5000 RPM and everything starts to get violent.

I don't use it anymore, I only use my N2MB 2-step box.

Can you tell me more about the n2mb? The price is very attractive.

Works fine.

Give it RPM and TPS signal and pass the 12v power for the coils through it. You can program events cut, rpm, TPS activation, and a few other things including no-lift shift for manual trans.

I set mine to 3200 RPM and can easily build 8 PSI on the footbrake. I have it activated by the brake pedal since I have an auto car. Much more affordable than the alternatives.

Yes! This works great.
My biggest issue with it is that on the sloppy brake alone I build ~20 PSI and it stalls the converter up to 4800-5000. I put the 2 step in to help regulate it.

Be aware that using a 2-step to build boost will not always shot flames.
Some cars need to retard a lot of timing and use a very rich afr to build boost. Other cars need advanced timing and a leaner AFR to build the same boost.
So, every car is different and you need to find what it likes.

I have used all three 2-steps, MSD, N2Mb and LNC, for me the MSD works the best, very simple and clean to install and very good quality.

Forget about the flames and focus on building boost as quick as possible.
