DBC to DBW

I have an 12200411 pcm and wondering if it is capable of doing DBW. I have the TAC controller and matching pedal. will a OS upgrade make this possible? I have read where all you have to do is enable the DBW in the 411 ecm and it will work.

No you don't
there were applications that used 411's with DBW, including Corvettes and some trucks.
if you don't know something is a fact, don't repeat it.

OP what harness, what tac module, and what pedal are you using? I.e. what year vehicle and model

We will see if he doesn't need it.

Yupp.

My swap has a 411 w/DBW from a 2002 Tahoe - pulled it from the junkyard myself.

Yes, you need to flash the PCM with a OS from a DBW car/truck and install a TAC/TB/Pedal compatible with that OS.
If the OS flashed to the PCM is not compatible it will not talk to the TAC and go REP pretty quick.
