1995 5.3 s10 pcm swap questions

1995 s10 99 5.3 with a 896 pcm.
having a issue with ect circuit maxed out 284 all the time rewired ect new sender etc still not working. I have tried everything lol.
I figured I would go ahead and get a 411 out of a newer s10(fullsizes are few and far between and generally priced higher) and use that.
1. Im not sure on the wiring my truck already runs everything is perfect so what determines the wiring as far as pcm's? Im just not sure if I need to change anything I can thats not a issue.
2. I cannot find any info on doing a simple pcm conversion from 896 to the 411 as far as the s10 is v6. So i know I need to atleast use some information from a 5.3 vehicles file.
any help would be appreciated the terminology is where im getting stuck when reading most of the information about hp tuners. Logically it would seem like rewrite pcm for 5.3 and go from there but I dont want to jump ahead of myself.
