2002 TA 02 sensors Just wondering what front 02 sensors you 4th gen guys are using /having good luck with seeing the Delcos are nearly impossible to find these days .
What do you mean Delcos are impossible to find? Any GM dealer can get them. Call Scoggin Dickey or get them from Rock Auto. Or just buy Bosch. They invented the O2 sensor.
Checked at the dealership Thursday and they looked online and told me they couldn't get either upstream sensors in the Delco brand . Found plenty of Delco downstream sensors though.
Why is a dealer looking on line. They have their own parts look up system, inventory and warehouses. And both down stream are the same part # as the left upstream. Right upstream is a different part # only because the wire length is a little different. The sensors and connectors are all the same. And Rock Auto has all of them in both a standard AC Delco and a Professional AC Delco complete with both the AC Delco part #s and the GM Part #s.
All they carry is delco . Guess what he was doing online was checking around at other local dealerships or wherever they get parts from . Thanks for the info . I'll check out their website. My current ones have less than 25k on them but crapped out due to a jacked up tune running pig rich . Tuner is no longer in business and I see why! :/
If you look at the pictures of the AC Delco sensors on Rock Auto the sensor part that goes into the exhaust don't look anything like factory installed OEM sensors. AC Delco is probably just sourcing another mgfs sensor and repackaging it as AC Delco. When I need sensors with longer leads for cars with long tube headers I've never had any problem using Bosch sensors.
