Android/Elm327 Pcm Flash App (LS Droid Read only released)
I tether my phone by USB cable and then let the phone become a drive letter on my Windows computer. You are not "opening" the file on the Kindle for editing - that file is merely an unopened "pass though" for LS Droid to move to / from your PCM.
You are not editing the BIN with LS Droid or Tuner Pro RT while the BIN is on an Android device. That is done by Tuner Pro RT on a Windows device.

HI! After Searching for hours, and with no luck, I went out and bought a micro SD card to place my files on. my laptop doesn't recognize the adapter/SD card, tried Tethering my Kindle to my Laptop, it does show up on my list of drives, but I can't open it there either. what am I missing here? sorry, I'm not familiar with android platforms. any ideas folks?
thanks!

Do you have Tuner Pro RT running on a Windows machine? Tuner Pro is the only method to open those files and edit them. They are NOT "opened" or edited on any Android platform. The Android device with a Bluetooth capability and an OBD2 module such as an OBDLink MX+ is used in combination to do the pushing / writing of your edited BIN to your PCM.
Edit with Tuner Pro RT. Copy your edited file to the Android device.
Push the edited BIN to your PCM with the combination of your Android device, Bluetooth and one of the approved OBD2 modules such as an MX+ Bluetooth device.

I'm trying to upload the bin file to my android tablet, but cannot seem to send it there, or be able to transfer it. trying to send via "drop box" here in a minute to see if that works.

How did you accomplish your file movement in post 579 above from your Kindle to your Tuner Pro RT Windows computer? This is simply the reverse of that in preparation to let LS Droid write this file to your PCM.

I sent the file from the LS droid folder on my kindle to my laptop, then opened it up tunerpro. after editing the file, I have tried to email back to my kindle, but I cannot select the file to send it to the folder in LS droid.
Rick,
Once I plug the usb cord into my laptop, from my kindle fire hd10, it does appear, but I cannot drag/drop files to it, it says "the device has stopped working"
this is driving me crazy...…..I tried to open it to show the storage, but it keeps saying it's "Empty" (I just formatted a 128GB SD card in it)

Rick,
Guess I'm getting old, or tired. My wife figured out that I wasn't holding my finger down on the file name long enough to highlight
It, after that, she was able to move the file to LS Droid, then five minutes later, I flashed the new bin to my 0411 PCM!!!!!!!!
Way cool!!! Thanks for all the help (and patience)

Ls Droid is now avaible in Google Play and any future updates for it will also come from the Playstore. Support for Ls Droid is still being done through the Ls Droid Facebook group since it still the easiest and fastest way for people to get answers when they need them.
