Default LS3 in 1999 LS1 car need right MAP sensor ## and the rubber to hook them up.

I have a 1999 ls3 in my Pontiac. It's the crate engine with 525 HP and 486 lb.-ft. the part number for the engine is 19301360 ASA Cam .525/.525 lift Duration at .050 .226 intake/.236 exhaust. L92 style heads rectangular-port heads 2.165 intake and 1.590 exhaust valves beehive springs. 525hp/486 lb.-ft. torque with a 90mm throttle body. with a 6 speed transmission. With 3:73 gears. What I am trying to find out is what to use for a bigger MAF sensor. I'm using my stock one now and it's 78MM which I'm sure you all know. what do I need to use to go bigger for the rubber to the intake or throttle body and to the MAF? its been tuned by a friend so I don't know any of that info. I'm just wanting to put a bigger MAF. I've been out of the automotive field for several years now because I'm now disabled. The dealer installed this engine for me and I'm using the part from Lingenfelter trigger conversion module. cable driven throttle body. The instructions for the installation just said to use a LS3 or LS7 MAF sensor but no part number or any other info. If someone knows what I need it would be very helpful and I thank you all for your help.

First get some things straight; duration is in degrees, not inches. 226 and 236 degrees. Next, you mean MAF sensor, NOT MAP. Larger MAF sensors are available, but once installed, the engine MUST be retuned for it. Why do you think you need a bigger one? The one that comes with your engine is big enough.

Default yes I know the difference. But all you did was to put down my question

I'm not interested in the specs. That was just so you would know what I am running as in the engine and trans, and gear. I wanted to go to a bigger MAF because it's bigger. More air more power and so on.. Yes I know it will have to be retuned. Thanks for all your help.

A bigger MAF does not mean more power if the present one flows enough. And the ones that come with the engine actually come very close to being big enough.
