Default Cylinder 3 misfire, and running lean bank 1

My 98 T/A has had an issue where it would misfire, only on cylinder 3, but after a while it would magically fix itself and then run fine for weeks and then start misfiring again. I've tried swapping the coil pack, spark plug wire, and spark plug from cylinder 1 trying to get the code to jump but it hasn't. So would. This be an injector issue? Ignition harness? Maybe the Frost tune that's on the car?

I would try swapping injectors to see if the misfire follows the injector. Or try using a Noid light to verify the injector is actually getting a signal from the PCM. It could be something else, but the lean condition would make me suspect the fuel delivery first.

This sounds more like a connection problem than a tune problem

It has magically fixed itself again for the time being. All I did was give the connectors to the PCM a little push and the connectors to the injector and coil a little push and it cleaned up. Hopefully it doesn't come back any time soon. Gotta drive it to LS Fest next weekend!

You might want to pull those connectors apart and clean them thoroughly. Might be a little corrosion going on..
