Hi Guys, Tuning my Deka 80's with EFI Live and I am unsure of where to enter Transient Min Pulsewidth and also Fuel to Wall Transient data. Thank you all!

Darth, read the post where he says "EFI Live" not HPTuners. sorry man. IDK if the numbers are the same, but min fuel mg is 2284 in HPT and fuel to wall is 12283.

The tables seem similar I just don’t see the two transient tables in EFI Live, maybe someone else will chime in that has done it via EFI. Thanks Darth

you have to add that table it is very easy to do, I just had the same problem. I think it's b9021 table, you can not see it or adjust until copy and paste the correct cax file in your efilive. do a search I found it on the efilive forum

You have a lot of other things to worry about before you get down to the nit picking of transient fuel tables. Eventually I hope this thread provides good info, but it will not matter to you for quite a while. Once it does, you may already have that stuff figured out.

The transient fuel tab in HP Tuners is actually a min PW control table; it's mis-labeled. So, you sometimes have to adjust it for the PW to be tight enough on a smaller motor with the 80s. Stock numbers cause the PW to hover at ~4ms at idle, making it hard to lean it out in some vehicles, even if you drop the VE table into the toilet.

Yeah, in my old version of EFI Live, I don't see it. It's there I'm sure. Somewhere.

But it's labeled as min fuel in HPT under the Transient Fuel tab. As I said, it's really a pulse-width control function.

are the ecm table numbers the same in EFI live?

To clarify so we are in agreeance

in HPT I get minimum injector pulse (ECM 12315) and default injector pulse (ECM 12316) ...these are under Fuel > General > Limit

and then I also see under Fuel > Transient > Transient Fuel Qualifications "min fuel milligrams (ECM 2284)

This is on a p59 computer 3 bar OS 1262050, but I'm pretty sure it's on most common p01 OS' too.
