Thumbs down VSS signal reaches PCM but no output

The issue I'm having is with a swap, '82 k10 with a' 99 5.3/4l60e mated to a NP241c transfer case. I bought as a half finished project, the harness was reworked by the previous owner and the PCM was tuned by LT1swap.
The problem I'm having is the truck won't shift out of first gear. If I log vehicle speed or trans output rpm with hptuners I get zero. If I pull the VSS wires from the red connector 21/22 and monitor with a voltmeter (running in gear) I get a reading from 4-10± v AC.
From what I have read this is correct, why is the signal not showing up on HPtuners?
Where do I go from here? Am I missing something?

Use a Bluetooth adapter at the OBD II diagnostic port with the "Dash Command" app on your phone to see if your trans really is recognizing speed or maybe some other problem. This would either rule in or rule out a problem with your VSS. I had a problem with the VSS in my 4L60E and this helped me track down the problem.

I'd try a different VSS. Mine cost a little over 30 bucks and was an AC Delco part.

Rick you were right, it worked! I bit the built and spent the $90 for a new one at the local parts store, I guess the price you have to pay for wanting it now!

I bet it'll shift perfectly now. This was the EXACT fault I had in my 4L60E that I worried I'd have to get rebuilt. Glad it worked out for you.

I'll be honest, I stumbled upon Q7 Casino by accident, but boy, am I glad that I did! Ever since then, I've been able to make some extra cash from the comfort of my own home. And you know what? I've been putting all those winnings towards fixing up my car. This has become my little side project of making money on a site like https://q7casino.org/ by playing online games, and using it to take care of my wheels. Plus, it feels good knowing that I'm not just blowing the money on frivolous things; I'm actually being responsible with it. So yeah, Q7 Casino has become my go-to spot for some entertainment and a little extra cash flow to keep my ride running smoothly.
