Default 98 TA ECM, Harness, and trans upgrade

Ok, I have a 98 TA that I ordered a upgraded plug and play harness that will run the 4l80e, and a 411 ecm. My question is do I flash a tune from a 2000 TA into the 411 pcm, and do a seg swap from my turbo car which has a 4l80e, and is a 2002 camaro ecm. DO I totally rewrite it?? or just seg swap stuff?? Will the old TA gauges, fuel pump..ect work with the new tunes?

Whatever you decide, keep a backup saved off somewhere of your original 98 tune. I can't answer your other questions but once you are complete with your new tune and all is running well . . . . save a copy of it somewhere. There's no sense in having to re-do it all again possibly someday when saving a copy is so easy. There's not a dealer anywhere in the known universe that can help you so save yourself and store a copy of your tune.

Thanks. I have the original98 tune, but I've changed the ecm to 411. Do I need to rewrite the 98 tune into the new ecm and add upgrade?

You cant load a 98 tune into a 896/411 pcm. You will need to build a new tune, a lot of tables in the 98 pcm are lower resolution than the 99+ pcm so they cant be copied over.
