MSD 6014 for ignition while keeping 411 PCM for fuelling?

MSD 6014 for ignition while keeping 411 PCM for fuelling? Has anyone made this work.
Reason I ask is to be able to go from 24x to 58x stock bottom ends in my vehicle, depending on whats around at the time. The MSD 6014 can work either.
I know people have used the stock PCM to work the coils when using carbs but havent been able to find anyone doing the other way around.
Yeah I know most will say change the reluctor wheels.
But the MSD also has launch retard and some other cool stuff I could use.
I use HP tuners fwiw.
