V1 will not accept a tune HP Tuners
I have had this problem before with the car continuously rebooting as the tune is trying to write to the car (05 V1) but it eventually fixed itself and let me write to the car. Now I can only get about 4% of the tune written before the car reboots itself like I'm cycling the key and something clicks under the driver's side dash. Jeremy Formato told me a long time ago to take the 10a fuse out under the rear seat for the radio but that does not seem to help anymore. Does anyone else have a solution or trick I can try?
UPDATE: Got it to write to the car once after I opened the door, took key out, shut door, turned key back to "on" position, disconnected USB for the interface, and reconnected. Put the old tune in it thinking it was a software issue and it took the tune.
Tried to put new tune in (only thing changed was injector data for Bosch 42lb injectors) and back to same problem as above. Tried to put old tune back in and same problem so I think I ruled out the bad tune assumption.
I attached my tunes. I have written or read this car 55 times so far, had issues for the first time a few months ago when I tuned it but it seems to be getting worse. Also I believe the clicking is a relay under driver's side dash, will be inspecting that shortly. Sometimes its a fast click, other times there is a delay between the two clicks so I'm not quite sure the wiring is chaffed but maybe a bad relay?
UPDATE 2: I got it to write the "55" tune a second time after about 6 tries. Still have the click under the dash but it wrote so I'm back to square one.
UPDATE 3: Hookup up a jump pack to battery thinking maybe it was a voltage issue, no change. Relay clicking sound same with a faint "buzzing" sound kind of like a breaker does before it pops. Wondering if some wire is chaffed and overheating and causing the variations in the timing of the "clicks"

Got an aftermarket radio in the car by chance?

Thanks for the responses guys, I’ll check for the amp fuse, MPVI1, stock radio and no aftermarket alarm I’m aware of. I’ve had the car 9 years but I’ve never had the dash apart. I’ll pull the kick panel under the steering wheel just to make sure

Solid suggestion, although, it’ll be a large pain in the *** to get to the computer on the V behind the bumper and switch ecu connectors multiple times per tuning session unless I’m missing something
