Default High idle at stop?

I have read the pasts posts with no success on this issue. I recently installed pp ls6 heads and a TSP 231/237. When I come to a stop the idle races to between 1300 and 1600 rpm's. It stays there for about 8-10 seconds and then drops down to normal of about 950. Sometimes the idle stays high when shifting gears. The car has been tuned and the Throotle Position Sensor code has been on ever since the install. Can this have an effect on idle? Also there is currently no hole in throttle body. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Andrew

You should at least have the stock sized hole in the TB blade.

I am working thru a similar issue with my cam. The tuners raise the idles up to keep our cars from dying, and then it runs at 1500rpm+ when you're rolling down the road. I just got a new tune to take care of this. I'll let you know if it works (& what he did).
