Default Can anyone give me some help?

I have a 2007 yukon with a 5.3 it has btr stage 2 truck cam, ls7 lifters, cold air intake, tbss intake, 86mm throttle body, flex fuel injectors, stock manifolds and cats but performance muffler. It runs and drives but you can hardly hear the chop of the cam and it is a turd until 3k rpm. When I put gas in it if I shut it off I have to hold the accelerator down for it to crank. Does anyone have a tune for hp tuner that I may be able to use that corrects some of the problems. Thank you in advance!

Simple answer is you need to get a proper tune for that cam. The stock tune will not work right.

You've put enough parts/time/$$ in here,, you'd be money and pain ahead to
find a tuner, get the rig to them and get it done right.
Random tunes off the internet are not worth the risk..
Your build doesn't sound over the top exotic.
Any good LS shop should be able to set you up.
Buy once cry once..

of course its a turd to 3k rpm. That's probably about when it starts primarily using the MAF sensor for fueling calculations. Below that it'll be the VE tables and of course they're completely wrong since you aren't running the stock cam.

morally of the story? you spent lots of money on parts. You can afford another $200-$400 for a tune. at the very, very least, get a mail order tune from somebody reputable like frost https://www.tunedbyfrost.com/

also, that cam is probably borderline on the stock torque converter, which wont help you much below 3k either....

Just guessing but that thing probably needs 20-25% fuel whacked out of it below 2K, and on the other side of the coil it's dead *** lean up towards the top. Get it tuned before you hurt it.
