So I went from a 90mm to a 102 nw . Works pretty good , but idles high. 1k-1100 rpm . Its a 6.0/Whipple 2.9 with a mast m-90. Speed density tune . How can I get the idle back down ? tried messing with idle speed control ,VE etc. Smoothed out the spark and VE tables and got it to stop surging . Just need to lower rpm by 200. Any ideas ? thanks
Cable: back the idle screw out. Key on engine off while adjusting so you can watch the TPS volts in your scanner and gauge your adjustments.
Electronic: reduce max idle area. Verify throttle scalar is set correctly
Other: verify no vacuum leaks. Speed density can run fine with vacuum leaks since fueling is not based on maf. Might need to do a smoke test to find leaks.
Thats the thing , I have no idea where throttle scalar is , or if it uses one . The mast ecm is different than most . Ill email them and ask .had this ecm since 2014 . Thaought about going holley , but only ecm does DBW is the dominator . $3300 and starting from scratch sucks .

As a side note, Holley Terminator X Max has DBW. Whole kit for ECU/Wiring Harness, etc is about 1300, about 1500 if you want it to control a 4L60e transmission.

The Terminator X does not have DBW, the "Max" version has the ability to add DBW and/or Trans control. I'm a big fan so far of the kit. Price and options seems to be about right for 95% of the projects I have.
