FWIW, I bought the Terminator X Max with the truck injector clips because the car injector version was backordered months out. Cut off the truck injector pigtails and soldered on EV1 pigtails, bit of extra work but was able to get up and running right away.

My son has had the Terminator X on his car for 2 years, and had upgraded to the 6.86" Pro Dash, so I got one (550-917T) without the handheld, and for a truck. Then ordered a EV1 harness from Current Performance, sold the Multec truck harness for 10 bucks less than the EV1 harness cost me, and have recently finished the F body hybrid P01/Terminator X Max conversion. Going to eventually get a Pro Dash, or a dash from Tinker Electronics.
Seems the truck versions are usually more easily found.
I ordered mine a couple weeks ago and was told May 26th for just the Terminator X
That will be the first time they give you another date. Hopefully production is moving along. I'm expecting to also get the notification that mine won't ship on May 26th either. I've been waiting 6-7-8 weeks this time, I can't remember.
If you ordered through Summit they will update delays before Holley. Just saw today mine(order placed on Jan 15th) is delayed until June 22 now. This generic one month out bullshit is really pretty lame of them.
Back ordered since March 29. Today Summit pushed it back to the 29th of June. I'll post a picture of it when or if I get one. The cars in the garage and the good weather is here. I think that's what's bothering me the most. Come on Holley......get at it already.
Seeing some of these orders backordered since January or March has me nervous now...
I was hoping to go test and work out the kinks July 4th weekend so I could chase my license before a Labor Day event at a local track but had other parts say they wont be here in time as well. That and having the whole front clip off the car currently makes it so im not thrashing it together but damn I dont like hearing all these backorders.

I went through this about a month ago when I ordered mine. I tried going through a vendor for a better price, but was told that it would be a long wait for one. I called Holley and they confirmed that some of the more popular kits had 400-600 backorders. I kept an eye out on Summit racing for when they were showing kits in stock. I needed an X Max kit, so I didn't pay much attention to what injector harness, DBW or trans harness, as long as it was the right ECU and 58x. I saw where Summit was showing 4 550-933 in stock, so I placed my order that day and received it in two days. I swapped injector harnesses with a buddy and picked up a trans harness for my 4L80e. I'd suggest keeping a close eye on Summit and something will pop up like it did for me.
I called the start of the week and requested by email an update. Next day Summit reached out to Holley and by the end of the week I had a shipping notice.
I just happened to look on Summit and they show the 550-903 in stock with more than 10 available.
Everyone else still shows out though...
Yep, they just shipped a ton. There are several in stock at several places as of "today". So if anyone is looking, NOW is the time to make the call! Don't wait a week or two and ask what happened.
Today, they are showing 'will be special ordered for you'. I think it was a mistake on Summit's site. I was told mine would ship 6/23. their update yesterday is they have no idea when they will ship.
I ordered mine april 26th an it's finally being delivered this Friday. I reached out to holley bringing up how jegs an summit had my part # in stock. 2 days later I get the shipping order an confirmation
