I have a 1999 camaro h/c/i that was recently tuned...Now upon firs start up it takes maybe ten times before cranking. Im calling the shop in the morning just wondering if any have had it happen?

 

Doesn't sound right to me because it should start right up. More information on the engine and fuel system would be helpful.

 

Sbe 6.0, Trickflow heads, 45# injectors, hellcatt fuel pump. It runs great once started and ran great the day of tuning and no start issues at all.

 

When you say hard to start are you meaning the engine turns over but wont start or that it's not turning over and starting up? If this is the case then you're having an electrical issue and the battery or starter is bad or you have poor connections.

It just will not start up untill after maybe six or seven tries.

 

Have you monitored your fuel pressure when trying to start?

 

Cold start airflow in the tune needs adjusted.

did you ever get this issue resolved??? Was it something stupid??

 

They called and said cam sensor but they were booked up they called today so should know something in the next couple days.
