Default LS3 PCM in 4th gen?

Im sure its been done. Im just out of the loop.
Could anyone direct me to a how to or thread on experiences on running a 58x, drive by cable PCM in a 4th gen fbody ? Will it run stock gauges?
Ive got questions.

Yes im updating to 10-15 year ago tech...
doing an LS3 416.

Sub'd....be nice to have a better ecu for these old cars. Flex fuel would actually be a option then.

Well for starters no such OEM GM computer exists. Just use a Lingenfelter 58x to 24x converter box and use the stock PCM if your goal is to run an LS3 in your F-body and retain drive by cable. If you run an aftermarket computer then the sky is the limit and you can do whatever you want.

Flex fuel is already an option with the stock PCM.

Not that i have seen. Atleast not without other glitches. But if it i would appreciate pointing me in the right direction.

A 2002 Tahoe came flex fuel enabled and uses the same exact PCM, just segment swap or change out the whole OS. I've done it more times than I can count over the years and it's all over the forums. Or if you need a 3 bar OS with flex swap to P59 PCM, it's a simple swap and I did that way back in like 2016.

Yes, I've seen the Lingenfelter conversion harness. Heard its an ok option til about 7000 rpm, which i guess i really wouldnt be turning it much more than that anyway. I just was thinking that hopefully there was a this option to go with a newer and faster OE PCM. It will be procharged like my last set up.
I have to relearn the process because everything has changed so much. I built my car in 2006. Forged LS1, the only after market heads avaible at the time AFR,
motron 60 injectors. all ancient tech now LOL. D1SC,built t56, moser 12 bolt.
Then stopped keeping up on the new stuff.

Purchase a Lingenfelter 58x to 24x converter box (PN L460065397). This box handles the conversion of both the crankshaft (58x to 24x) and camshaft (4x to 1x) signals.

Unfortunately for your idea, none of the new computers have the internal hardware to drive an iac for a cable throttle body. The learning curve on tuning them is also MUCH steeper than the old p01 and p59 computers because of the VVE and torque based computations involved. Pretty sure it would end up being easier to swap to a 24x wheel on the crank than to explore almost any of the other options.
