Misfire at high speed

Misfire at high speed In the course of squashing a flyby attempt tonight
I got a flashing SES light which I figure has to be
misfires. It came on at about 110-120MPH. The car
felt like it was "breaking up", down on power a bit
(but still enough for the job at hand).
Just wondering whether anyone's run into a misfire
problem that's purely high speed related?
Maybe my ram air just commenced to work and I
ran out of injector. Heh.

So, I went and hooked up HPTuners today and pulled
the misfire history count (fortunately it was still fresh
from last night). Hmmm... 115 on Cylinder 2, onesy-twosey
everywhere else. Wiggle the injector connector, the coil
connector, the spark plug wire... whaddya know, my
fairly-new Taylor Thundervolt wire is just sort of
hanging there.
I guess it was at least resting on the
plug. Sorta. And maybe the underhood turbulence went
and shook it out of place.
Well, nice to know I can get by with 7 cylinders in a
pinch.

Hey Thats great Jimmy,I was going to suggest some of the above,but with these new pcms ,I didnt want to look stupid with my old school tech,because when you said at a certain mph I thought it was pcm related...congrats on your fix...
