That's cool understood ... but could you at least help us understand why you have ATAP, EFI, & EDIT by themselves as a rebate, EDIT/EFI together but no EDIT/ATAP, just seems odd

I'm more than happy to just have the option to trade-in LS1Edit! True, I do have the option of selling my Autotap cable, it's the V1.0 hardware though I'm just curious as well, why Edit/ATAP wasn't a trade-in option.

Thanks again for this offer!

why not just sell it outright...i got $150 for my version of autotap a few months back...just a thought but you dont "have" to trade yours in.

I'm pretty amazed at all the drama here, especially
from people who haven't even bought anything. No
wonder there's no peace in the Middle East. People
can't even quit squabbling over stuff they haven't
done yet. Fie on your Big-Endian heresy!

I'm just happy to see the tuning arena have more
than one horse. Everybody wins, pick one and ride.

ok.. i just removed a bunch of posts.... this thread got way off topic and was easier to edit than the previous post I locked cause people took it off topic...

we don't usually have this problem in this section ... and my "delete" key is wearing out...

Let's keep this civil and on topic...

So if I have purchased VCM Pro before V1.5 and then paid for the upgrade can I get a additional vehicle type along with the new interface? Seems kindof unfair to the people who already have HPT and have paid for the upgraded interface yet still get stuck with only one vehicle type.

No, the new licensing only works for new cable sales (the discounted price to add new vehicles applies to all)

Let's not turn this thread into a again (Pre-emptive warning )

So, if I bought HP Tuners before the new pricing structure, I still have a kick-*** tuning package, right?!!!

Its good to see you guys getting even more competitive and being able to offer more to customers. I think you guys have been great about innovation and keeping up with customers demands/features etc.

This pricing however seems to penalize the guys that had faith in HPTuner early on before all the new stuff was released. Right now Ive sent about $6500 out for the single vins adding to the shop version. I wish I coulda have waited and got this deal, because Im $1000 away from having what I could have every GM V8 now.. actually at 20% off buying once I would already have it all

Its going to cost me another $6000+ to get (for a total of $12-13,000) what guys can get for $6500 now

Does the 2 Vehicle Type mean Gen III V8's and V6 f-Body's? would I be able to update an LS1 and a V6 Firebird? If so, count me in!!!

So long as it's a vehicle they support shouldn't be a problem I bought a license for my Trans Am and my Grand Prix ... V8 and V6 ... good stuff

Im thinking of selling my car and getting a differnt one and I was just going to sale my current hp tuners since the re sale value was pretty good. Since this new pricing I dont see anyone wanting my old 1 model version for a good price.

Do you do something like take my 02 cable back for a discount toward an 01?
