HELP - Car Making HORRIBLE noise, won't start... Just started up my car after a week of being buried under snow and car cover. It started fine, I let it idle for a bit while I cleared some snow behind it THEN when I went to put it in gear the car went BERSERK and stalled, dashboard lights flickering, bell ringining like a casino. When I went to start it again, it made this horrible noise like a machine gun in a video game, and didn't come close to turning over
When I turn the key off, the needles on the gauges jump.

Damn. At this point it would be just a guessing game. Do you have a diagnostic tool? Are you able to interface with the pcm? Did you do a visual inspection? Iced out O2's? PCM? TB even??
When you tried to re-start and you heard the "machine-gun" noise . . . did that come from the starter or the engine?
