Update on the LC-1 wideband
For those of you interested, Innovative's new LC-1 wideband (previously scheduled to be released jan 05) is now planned to start shipping Feb 25. I asked the people over at Innovative and this is what they said:
Thanks for your interest! We have spent a little extra time fine tuning the final design. We plan to start shipping around the 25th of this month. More details will be sent via the monthly newsletter. If your not signed up to receive the newsletter go to our main page to sign up! Thanks for your patience.

Will it be able to log AFR and RPM (assuming you add the RPM converter to it) on a laptop for a non-computer controlled car? I know it works with HPTuners, but I want to know if I could log data on a laptop with the LC-1 without any additional software.

From my understanding...
#1 Cheaper
#2 It won't have the white box... no LCD display on it, it'll have the analog out and ability to hookup to a laptop to program/log but that's it (possibly log internally like hte LM1 but not sure)
Basically the controller's built into the WB02 cable

On 2/18/05, less than a week ago, I asked Klaus (chief engineer) what the LC-1 was all about. He replied:
"We are expecting the "zero" production run today. A "zero" production run is a smaller quantity of 25-50 units to test the production process.
The Lambda cable's application is mainly as a wideband only controller for built-in applications. Interfaces to ECUs, dataloggers and so on. 2 programmable 0..5V outputs. Also has 2 serial ports for external logging for LogWorks 2.0. With the serial ports, multiple LC-1s (and an LM-1 if so desired) and Auxboxes can be daisy-chained for up to 32 channel realtime logging with LogWorks 2.0. It will be on the website as soon as we have full production quantities."

from what ive read, it is the same as the LM-1 except for no internal data logging and no display. still hooks to HPTuners or other such programs. 199 is the expected price.
