Torque Management
The damage caused by removing torque management really depends on how much you drive it aggressively... the purpose of torque management is to remove engine power before a shift so that the clutches can positvely engage easier under less torque/power... removing this presents a greater shock to the clutches
98s had very little torque management and there are still lots of them driving around on stock transmissions.
What I've done for some people that were worried about transmission longevity is I've removed 50% of the torque management ... they've all said it feels much better, and at the same time it's still pulling timing so it's still not as aggressive as no TM
But as mentioned, the damage caused depends on your driving habits.. lots of WOT blasts will take life off the trans regardless of torque management ... there's not really a number though of how much life is taken off...
If you're worried about it I'd say remove 50% of the TM ...
