Default ses light still on after installing o2 sims

after installing my catless y-pipe and installing my o2 sims also have a diablo tuner my service engine soon light came back on it is throwing the codes p1133 and p1153 insufficent switching in bank 1 and bank 2 can anyone tell me why i got the 02 sims from summit and they are casper electronics i am just curious to find out why this is happening any input would be greatly appreciated thanks

Check you eng sensors fuse in the outside fuse box if not blown beats me guess ya will have to look at your data while the car is running an see whats going own.

ive heard some people of having this problem...i had a customer that had to get his codes deleted because of this...sometimes **** happens.

i watched the data while the car was running and everything appeared to be normally i did not know if it was something really easy and stupid that i might have over looked or something that is really wierd that has happened to someone else

the rears shouldnt be switching anyhow are u sure you pluged those into the rears?

Yes, you did put the sims in the rear right? Anyway, those codes are pre cat codes. If you made o2 extensions or reused your stock o2's thats the problem, neither will function well with long tubes headers. Stock o2's can not maintain enough heat to function properly in all driving conditions. Bosch 11131's(vette rear o2's) from advanced or autozone will take care of those codes.

thanks for for all your ideas guys the other thing i forgot to mention is the light comes on after i have been driven 100 miles or so then it will come on

ahh so in actuality you need to spend $80-90 for the sims...then another $50-80 for new o2's wow that sux.

If you have access to pcm tuning then you won't need o2 sims in the rear. The o2's from advanced were $60 each. Well worth it in my opinion, and you won't need to buy extensions, they come with about a 2.5' wire.

p1133/1153 are insufficient switching Sensor 1, that's a
front O2. Sims only replace the rears. Suspect the O2s
up front being dead / sleeping. You need more exhaust
heat or more exhaust sensor heater wattage.
