WideBand Sensor Placement
Any opinions on this one guys?
the narrowbands. Narrowbands just want hot. The WBO2
needs to be someplace where it will -never- be put over
its thermal setpoint, which the control electronics try
to maintain. If it goes out of thermal control then the
output is out of cal. So you wouldn't want, say, to go and
put the bung upstream of the stockers on an iron-logs car.
Downstream of cats is going to make for some smoothing
at best, probably some inaccuracy.
I put mine in the I-pipe back by the passenger's door trailing
edge. My cats are neutered
My reading is a composite of both banks, that way. Which might or might not be better
than having it on one side of the Y.

Anywhere downstream of the turbo.
Perhaps another dumb ? .. but if you put the wide band sensor in the O2s location what is the PCM going to do to the A/F on the side with no INPUT coming from the sensor

Nevermind, but thanks John. I misunderstood this thread.
