Default OBDII maxes out at 7000 rpm?

Since i have a 94, i was wondering what the obd2 maximum RPM is... Obd 1 is 7000

I different rpm limits is not really obd1 vs obd2. On my 99 ls1 the max rpm is 8000.

Correct.. it's not a matter of the OBDxxx , it's what GM put in the PCM

so if 99 is 8000, what is 01-02?
