Can a friend with a GM Preditor load a tune I make for him using HP Tuners?

This is similar to what I asked a couple days ago, about
whether the Predator file that the RWTD utility pulls out,
is readable by HPTuners. If so then you could edit it if
it's the right model*year. But so far I haven't seen any
info. How about you have your buddy go through the
process of extracting the file and mailing it (has he
already downloaded the utility and updated the Pred?),
and see what the deal is? Is his car one that you have
licensed?

Once something's in the PCM ... unless the PCM's locked ... it can be pulled back out ... would be interesting to see if Predator can read an HPT .bin file though and put it into the PCM

I just got a Predator file and HPTuners refuses to
open it because it's the "wrong" file size. Whether it's
good data or not, otherwise, dunno; it just isn't
quite tall enough to go on the roller coaster.
