Anyone ever try Ultrasonic Cleaning slow Oxygen Sensors?

The question is what causes oxygen sensors to "go bad."
If it due to deposits, then ultrasonic cleaning might do an amazing job.
However, if it is due to chemical reaction, well, there is no way to undo that.

I finally tried it and it didn't work. At first the sensors seemed good, but after a 20 mile drive, they were almost flat line (much worse than when I started.)
A friend told me he knew a guy running leaded fuel that soaked them in acetone to clean them up so he could continue using them.
