HP Tuners bin files

No, and you also need to be very careful about the
'98s as there are several different incompatible OS
versions out there from GM. The safe way is to go
and modify table by table with cut-n-paste from the
"donor" program (which you can open for viewing,
any of those years).

HP Tuners allows you to do a full rewrite of the PCM, however I would only do this as a last resort... while the procedure works , this is the only method that damage to the PCM can occur if the Laptop loses power or the PCM loses power ... copy/paste tables is your safest bet

im new to the hp tuners so far ive only scanned and logged to my understanding after i flash the computer the first time then i can play with that file and make changes then have to rewrite changed file completely over the cars computer. also what do you mean by the copy and paste thing, is this just to get the values to the tables.
