Torque management?
I was wondering...when tuning is everybody disabling the torque management? I read where that is not so good. Do you have to disable the torque management? What purpose does it serve to do this? Makes your transmission work harder and could cause it to fail (break)?
Anybody have experience with this? or any thoughts. I am going to be doing the H/C as soon as FFHP ships the stuff to me and I want to have an idea what I am doing.

People on the HPTuners forums seem to suggest deleting Engine Tq Mgt and leaving the Trans Tq Mgt (or at most scaling it down 50%). You should sign up over there if you plan on tuning your own car.

Most people like to just kill it. I prefer to limit its
authority but keep -some- pullout during shifts.
It doesn't have to be all-or-nothing.
Killing it is easy, training it can be tricky or just
tedious.
