Ok so here is my problem when I first start my car up it doesn't want to idle right I have to give it some gas for a few seconds then it will finally idle correctly. Also when I am driving and push in the clutch it will idle down to 400 rpms then jump back up to about 800 were it should run. I have check for vaccum leaks and exhaust leak and I haven't found any. My car started doing this after I installed my F-13 cam and ported TB. Car was tuned by Futral.
Thanks for the Help

go log your idle desired airflow, dynamic airflow, iac counts, idle adapt airflow the LTIT and STIT along with the coolant temp and rpm and i can give you a hand, log it from a cold cold start thoguh

i did say what needed to be done and it is in many other posts, so once again...
you have to adjust the effective area to make the desired idle airflow and dynamic airflow fall inline for each iac position, then after that and after you have the ve tuned right you can tune the raf table by logging ltit and stit to find what needs to be done

Thanks dude, I don't really have an idle problem right now (I don't think), but if I wanted to be really nitpicky, before the car is warmed up, sometimes the idle will drop to about 500 rpms and then quickly go back to about 800 rpms. Once the car is warmed up, this never happens. And when it's not warmed up, it doesn't always do that, just once in a while. When it happens, I just figure that the car isn't warmed up, plus it has a pretty lopey cam (112LSA). I don't really think I have a problem, but you may think differently?
Anyway, thanks for following up and asking. I appreciate it!!

i had a similar problem on only cold start up. checkmate showed me the startup spark correction multiplier table, i changed the values in there that were not 0 to 0.5, 0.75, 0.75, 0.45. you could try to decrese those on yours, the values that are currently at 1, to 0.75 to see if that helps. worked great for me and that problem is gone
Thanks man, I appreciate it!!
I have LS1 Edit, version 1.21, and I don't think that I have a spark correction multiplier table. Would you know if there's a way to accomplish, what you suggest, with Edit?
Thanks again!!

hmm dont know much about edit but if there is any start up spark table that pulls timing for a certain amount of time after start up then thats it. the table im talking about does that, start it up and it pulls about 12* on start up, with a cam the pulled timing makes it hunt
That's very interesting and it makes a lot of sense. I'll look into it. I probably have a similar table just with a different name.
This is exactly what a forum should be, sorry if I offended you with an earlier complaint.
Thanks so much!!
