Speedometer reading is wrong , after Crane Power Tuner installed !
Just got a new CRANE power tuner , for my friends 2000 trans am M6 , everthing is fine execpt for speedometer reading it is totally worng , the car got stock rear end 3.42 , i didnt done any changes to the Rear axle / tires setting , i tried may be more than 10 times back to stock and then upload custom tune but no use , i tried the same tuner with a automatic car everything is working perfect the speedometer is accurate , all what i noticed is that before uploading the programming it is showing in the device display that the current tire size is 24.25" , as far as i know the tire size is 25.66" if i am not wrong for the stock car.

factory settings on the car are entered in 24ish range and should be 25.66. i had to fix this in every car i tuned

I have changed the setting in the tuner to 25.66 , but no use it is still the same .

It is 30-40 Mph off , maybe more , i can hit 150 Mph in 3rd before i hit the rev. limeter .

where did you buy it from and what version is the tuner? look on the back at the sticker. it'll say what version it is. also, when you plug it in, look for the current version and date of that version.
