Default Oil pressure signal...does it go into the pcm????

In order to get my 98 vette cluster to report the oil pressure signal I believe it needs to come from the pcm in the serial data wire because there is no wires designated for it. Am I correct at this assumption???

My problem is that I am running a 98 f-body computer/engine. I know the camaro has a 2 pin oil pressure plug and the corvette has a 3 pin. The camaro pcm does not have an input for the oil pressure signal which leads me to believe this heads straight into the gauges.

How can I get my camaro oil pressure signal into the serial data wire coming out of the pcm???

HELP!!!!

thanks for anything yall can come up with, I appreciate it!!

F-Body's report oil pressure right from the sensor... not sure what input the PCM uses though... you'll need the PCM reflashed w/the vette code at minimum I believe to get the signal out

would my f-body harness still work or is the vette pinout different?
If I could just get a vette sensor and reflash the pcm that would take care of it However I thought the pin outputs were different.

at the PCM the pins should be the same... but the harness is most likely different

was the harness designed for an F-Body or a Y-Body?
