The 195* thermostat is stock. I had a 180* thermostat and the operating temps did not change. The PCM was recalibrated with new fan temps as well. I changed it for a 160* thermostat and runs a bit cooler. Even in the ~100* days, the car runs no higher than 185*.

180 is stock thats why it didnt change, look in the manual, 180 deg says its the stock setting for mine. go 160 if anything. i get mine to run 180 deg with the fans cycling on a 105 deg day with 115 heat index. and the lovely ram air setup i devised keeps the iat tamps right at ambient.

What temps should you have in the PCM for a 160? I have a 160 and have FAN1 @ 84 C and FAN2 @ 85 C but my ECT is running much higher than this. Should I change this temp?

My car run a bit cooler than with the stock thermostat. Definitely controls the KR is the hot summer months. My fans will cycle on and off with the lower fan settings. I have my fans set to:

Fan 1: on 184/off 175

Fan 2: on 194/off 185
